2007 Standings
99 Stephen Kershaw
68 John Downey
54 Mark Reade
The 2008 Season is not far off now.
Last year the prize fund was worth €3000. Stephen Kershaw won his 1st Formula 5 Championship following
in the footsteps of Kevin Gillespie (WHO RETURNS FOR 2008),
and took the top prize worth €1500.
Runner up John Downey claimed €1000 from the fund, while Naas teenager Mark Reade picked up €500 for his third place. The ex karter was very
impressive in his first full season of car racing and will be back for 2008.
Stephen and Mark also picked up awards from Formula Libre for the under 1 litre class. The 5's will race with the Libre's again in 2008 and the
registration fee for the year will include subscription to the Formula Libre class.
Craig Elliott will act as Class Cordinator for 2008.
